Location: The Mojotone Amp Build Workshop is hosted at our shop at 137 WORTH BEVERAGE DRIVE BURGAW, NC 28425
What to Expect: You will spend two days with our instructors who will guide you through the build, explain amp circuit concepts, and basic electronics. You will be soldering, assembling and genuinely getting your hands inside an amplifier.
Hosted and lead by MojoTone’s Production and Tech Manager Andy Johnson, this two-day program will take you through a classic “British Style” amp build where you will learn more about soldering techniques, amp circuit theory and an overview of what makes the 50 Watt JMP 2204 such a standout in the world of amplifiers
You will be guided through the build process, reading wiring diagrams and schematics, and wiring your amp together by hand.
Instructors are on hand to quickly address any questions and to help troubleshoot issues if you run into a problem.
By the end of the two-day workshop, you will have hand wired your very own tube amp to enjoy for years to come and have a better understanding of what makes a tube amp so special.
